I believe acupuncture plays an incredibly important, supportive role in fertility and reproductive medicine, and that it will not be long before it is fully integrated into IVF and ICSI treatments.
We know that acupuncture has a positive impact on blood flow to the pelvis (uterus and ovaries), helps reduce women’s stress and anxiety during IVF and ICSI, and eases many of the side-effects. And there is new evidence that treatment may help with implantation rates too.
I’m so pleased I found Ali during the midst of IVF treatment. She was kind, compassionate but most of all so knowledgeable about fertility and its’ treatment, I felt instantly more hopeful after seeing her.
